Description:
|
The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Logging (MRIL) tool is a centralized tool that provides porosity and other petrophysical parameters related to the overall productivity of hydrocarbons in the downhole environment. The tool does this by measuring hydrogen atoms located within a thin-walled, cylindrical-volume concentric to the axis of the tool. The main components of the tool consists of a strong permanent magnet, which produces a gradient magnetic field used to polarize hydrogen atoms, and an antenna which both transmits a Radio Frequency (RF) signal and receives an echo response.

Composition
? MRIL-PRIME includes three main parts:
l D series Sonde (MRSN)
l D series Electronic Circuit (MREC)
l D series capacitor (MRCC)
? MRIL sonde includes three parts:
l A strong ferrite magnets (main magnet);
l Two stronger magnetic stratum polarization samarium - cobalt permanent magnets;
l RF antenna embedded in the shell of FRP probe.
? MREC includes the following parts:
l Transmission circuit;
l Receiving circuit;
l Circuit to control, calibrate the instruments and do the data communication;
l Supply circuit.
? MRCC provides the extra energy storage function, such as:
l Filter circuit, used to eliminate the interference between MRIL data acquisition and DITS communication;
l Relay on the eliminator, used to solve compatible problems of auxiliary power supply between MRIL and other DITS tools under the supply of W2
